Detailed
Narrative Description of the Project: The proposed building of the university (under phase
1A) covering an area of 68,000 sq. ft. comprises of classrooms, seminar
rooms, science labs, multi-purpose rooms, offices, open work stations and a
dining facilities on an area of 8 acres of land located along the north side
of the main east-west valley within the campus at Pahartali, Chittagong. |

Detailed
Description of Actual Services Provided by our Staff: The services of the
firm include: a. Design of earthwork to create a building
platform, car parking, services and access areas together with initial
filling of the valley and rebuilding of the road embankment to create a
stable structure. b. Pavement design for access road and
parking, road alignment & level design, typical details for kerbs, road drainage etc. Analysis and design
of surface water drainage, produce scheme design drawings and details for
drainage of the building, lake, valley bottom channel, culverts and outflow
restriction structures. c. Review of
existing documentations, geotechnical reports, design of structural system
including superstructure and foundation, preparation of mathematical model
performing detail design and drawing, bill of quantities and estimate of
costs, assisting in preparation of specification and construction technique
for the Tender Documents. |
