Narrative Description of Project:

The Department of Road (DoR), Ministry of Works & Human Settlement, intends to develop a new set of standard design of bridges that caters to the requirements of the existing and future traffic conditions that conforms to the newly issued guidelines for Road Classification System. So, the Bridge Division has undertaken this standardization program for standardization of bridges from span 3m to 24m for carriage way widths 3.5m, 5.5m and 7m . The objective of the consultancy service is to produce standard reinforced concrete slab and deck girder bridges of varying spans and widths.

 

Description of Actual Services Provided by our Staff within the Assignment:

The services include: Carryout detail structural analysis, design and detail drawings for RC Bridges/culverts with technical specifications, preparation of Technical Specifications and Bill of Quantities and preparation & submission of standard Design Manual.
