Narrative Description of Project: The project consists of different buildings &
structures viz; Clinker Silos (40,000 M.T) 2 Cement Silos (10,000 M.T. each),
Packing House, Mill Building and Generator/Power House for the extension of
the Akij Cement Factory and a River
Jetty for loading/unloading of raw material. |

Detailed
Description of Actual Services Provided by our Staff: Design of foundation for the
Clinker and Cement Silos and other structures. Design of machine foundation
for the vertical ball mill. Design of one 30.0m dia and 60.0m high
pre-stressed concrete Clinker Silo, 2 nos. 16.0m dia. and 60.0m high Cement
Silos, their underground extraction tunnel, bucket elevator, conveyor belt,
16.0m deep caisson for the extraction tunnel elevator and preparation of BOQ
and top supervision of the construction work. Design of Cast-in-situ pile
foundation for the Jetty and RCC framed
Jetty superstructure, River bank protection work using rip-rap, Anchorage
design for the Crane and top supervision of the construction work |
