Detailed Narrative Description of the Project: A catastrophic flood due to unprecedented torrential rain during Sep.12 to 17 and incessant rain during early Oct. along with cross boundary flow occurred almost all over Bangladesh. This flood caused damages to BWDB infrastructures such as embankment, irrigation/drainage canal, protective works etc. in about 600 projects/sub-projects under 7 zones and CE/CERP. BWDB appointed consultant on sole source basis for conducting survey and assessment of the damages for taking up the rehabilitation works promptly.
Detail Description of Actual Services Provided by our company: Made physical survey of the damaged areas, assessed the damages caused, prepared cost estimate for repair and rehabilitation of the damaged infrastructures and preparation of report.
