Detailed Narrative
Description of the Project: The
scope of the project works have three major components; viz, (i) GIS based
MIS System for DWASA, (ii) Water
Supply Network Analysis and (iii) System Metering. Detail scope of works is
given below: 1.
Development of an MIS with GIS mapping
facilities to establish a Rationale Database Application. This database
should contain all avail data and information for all components of the
existing water supply, sewerage and drainage system of DWASA. 2.
Carrying out a comprehensive network
analysis of DWASA water supply system to make evaluation of the existing
network and to facilitate any future up-gradation/rehabilitation and
extension of the network. 3.
System Metering includes: developing a plan
to install flow meters at strategic locations within the water supply
network. These meters will be used to measure flow through the zones and
sub-zones. |

Detailed
Description of Actual Services Provided by our Company: 1. Analysis
and evaluation of present water supply system: analyse and assessment of
findings and recommendation of past study report; collect necessary secondary
data from DWASA and make an
evaluation of water supply system by assessing present and future water
supply and demand condition. 2. Design
of various options for improvement of water supply System based on
information on projected population growth, expansion of city areas, demand
for water in various sectors and probable sources. Assess the institutional
and financial capacity of DWASA for development, planning, implementation,
operation and maintenance of various projects and infrastructures. 3. Water
Supply Zoning: discuss with various DWASA officials, visit existing MODS
Zones, consult topographic maps and assess the present and future water
supply scenario to rationalize the existing DWASA Zones for optimum
operation, maintenance and management of the water distribution system and to
provide improved services to the consumers.
4.
Formulation of specification for water supply system
elements/components for
improvement/rehabilitation/extension of the
existing water distribution system. 5. Analysis of option study result and
reporting. |
