Detail Description of Actual Services Provided by our company:

Updating would mainly cover the engineering aspects for updating of the irrigation plan through utilization of surface waters, mainly from the Teesta, Dharla and Dudhkumar rivers in conjunction with the available groundwater. Existing/proposed irrigation structures, STW/DTW, check structures, canals and flood embankments would be reviewed in this context and addition/reduction of structures would be assessed. Beside the irrigation engineering, the updating would consider other important aspects such as, agriculture, fishery, socio-economics, environment and people’s participation. All the multi-sectoral issues would be considered in the updating process based on global concept and the Govt. commitments towards poverty reduction. The EIA and SIA of the project were also carried out. Mathematical Modelling technique was applied to assess the performance of the proposed flood protection, drainage and irrigation plan of the project in integrated way.
