Detailed Narrative Description of Project: It’s an 11nos. Equal span 225.0m long Reinforced Concrete bridge. Its superstructure comprises 5 nos. simply supported span RC girders per span and the decks are 4 & 3 span continuous modules, the substructure abutment is solid wall type and the piers are 2 column type and the foundation comprises 610mm dia and 22m long cast-in-situ bored piles. River bank protection was an important part of this project.
Detailed Description of the Actual Services Provided by our Company: Site investigation and preparation of complete structural design drawing, including design and build contract documents as LGED nominated consultant. Our firm DPMC Ltd. was appointed design consultant by Monico Ltd., design and build contractor of the project under LGED. Services of the consultant completed in December 1999 and the construction work of the bridge has also been completed.
