Proposed improvement of the said road section starts from Dhaka-Chittagong National Highway (N1) and ends at Holyday Mor. The length of the road section is about 5.20 km and passing through the main Hotel- Motel Zone of Cox s Bazar Presently this road is only 7.1 m to 7.8 m wide and the carriage way is inadequate to provide the space for huge numbers of traffic. Improvement and widening the carriageway of pavement & providing for pedestrian will be done by strengthening/rising of existing pavement, 5.20 km surfacing, DBS wearing course on existing pavement footpath cum drain on both side of the road for pedestrian, construction of median and widening of Six number of 15 m and Six number of 30 m RCC box culvert etc., including digital signal, MS pipe MS Plate, Digital Lighting and Guard post including Road safety measurements.
